Granite bay is centrally located mainly due to its easy access to I-80 freeway. It only takes 10-15 minutes to get to the Galleria mall for great shopping and 20-30 minutes to get downtown.

Most of the homes in Granite bay were built in 1970 or newer. But there is a real mish mash of homes. A lot of older homes on acreage. The average home is made with wood frame construction, stucco siding and on a slab foundation and this is a great design for the area which leads to years of use without much maintenance.
